The blogosphere is growing

I was reading the newspaper Metro a couple of days ago and it presented some interesting stats on how the blogsphere has been growing the last 320 days.

It showed that the number of blogs had be en doubled from 35 to 70 million.

The stats also showed that 33% of the blogs are in english, 37% are in Japanese and that the rest is at 20%.

I do not know how accurate these stats are but it does show that the blogger community is growing, and that is rapidly.

That’s rather odd, that most of the blogs are in Japanese. I would assume that most would be in English. Oh well.

I assumed that too. But as I said I do not know how accurate the information is but it is a respected newspaper so they should have done their homework he he

The internet is growing by leaps in bounds and everybody is being bit by the bug.Man I even created two blogs myself. I believe the growth is being fueled by two things 1 money and 2. people want to share their opinion.
