Page Rank update?

Has Google Page Rank been updated today?

I noticed that this blog has gone from a 4 to a 3. This is something that confuses me since I have only improved things with this site.

Anyon else that have observed some changes?

I hope it’s not been updated. If so, I’m still stuck on 0, and although I can’t say for sure, surely my blog would get some kind of ranking?

Everyone says that during the update it can fluctuate up and down. I wouldn’t worry about it to much.

A lot of people brush of Page Rank as not a big deal, but personally I think it’s a big deal. I think it really gives a site the feeling of authority. I have the Page Rank toolbar installed for FireFox and I just hate opening up my blog and seeing a big fat 0 staring back at me. It may not be super important, but lets face it, until you’ve got a decent page rank, a lot of advertisers won’t look at you and some ad networks won’ accept you. So, unless you’re just blogging for the heck of it and not trying to make any money, then yeah, Page Rank doesn’t matter.

That’s my feeling anyway. I’m really getting anxious waiting for the update.

I’ve seen some changes. But visible changes to your page rank don’t mean squat as far as your SE traffic volume is concerned. The big G are updating all the time. I wrote a bit about it here.

i have seen changes in my PR and its is true to say that the google system is now updating, at http://www.googlebugs.com there are results and stats that show this has happened.
