Google acquires DoubleClick
Yesterday Google announced that they have agreed to acquire DoubleClick Inc., a global leader in digital marketing technology and services, for $3.1 billion cash.
MSN was reported to be in a bidding war with Google to acquire this company, but as in a lot of other big buys, Google comes out as the winner.
With this buy Google, gets a hold of DoubleClicks advertising software, their customers and their network.
This is interesting news and it really shows that these big acqusitions will keep coming. It is good being a web entrepreneur these days. When is it my turn?
