Blog Stats
Just some fun stats. Today I broke the magic 100 posts limit. At this speed I am soon at 200 posts. Apart from this 124 comments has been posted and this is hopefully something that will increase as my activity increases.
The traffic stats are also increasing from month to month, and this is a record month in many ways. But the stats are still too low to brag about.
2 blogs merged with AndreasBard.com
I have decided to merge to of my other blogs with this blog. It is GetaCommunity.com (the content part) and also Inboxmotivation.com. The only reason is that I feel that I rather focus on this blog and write on these topics here, since they are related to what I cover here. So you will see a big add of posts here the coming days, because of the move.
This is another way for me to improve my focus, I will still start a few other blogs though. More on that soon.
ReviewMe finally accepted this blog
It took some time but today ReviewMe finally approved me to join their network of reviewers.
They put the price level at $60 for a review on this blog but I lowered it to $40 since I feel that $60 is really to much at the moment, but in a few weeks when the rankings of this blog is higher I will raise the price again.
Until now I have done reviews for everything from $10 to $20 but from like tomorrow $40 is the price if you want a quality review of your website, product or service. So if you are looking to get your site reviewed by me any time soon, you better order as soon as possible before I double the price . . .
I will give you a deeper explaination of this tomorrow.
Blogger NCAA Tournament Winner
Some time ago I joined David Litmans Blogger NCAA Tournament and a couple of days ago he announced the winner, who was Bryan Le.
My performance in the Tournament was really bad, but I just picked a couple of teams without knowing anything about them, but it was kind of fun anyway.
Congratulations Bryan, you did a great job with your picks and thanks David for a fun way of interacting.
I am a blogger
Readers and fellow entrepreneurs, I think I have finally decided what I want do and where I want to take my business. In other words, I have found something to focus on, something you might have noticed I have had a hard time to do.
How did I discover this? Well, I love to write and I am a blogger and I would love to focus more on my blogs.
Until now I have not had the time to do this, and that has made my blogs suffer but now I feel it is time to take care of these valuable resources and get things going and do what I love to do.
I have decided to sell off most of my digital properties and only focus on 8 blogs (5 english and 3 swedish) I have set up a blog posting schedule for these and some of the blogs will be updated daily and some 3 times a week. I really feel I can do this, and I am really longing to get started.
My Journey to Freedom (this blog) will be my main focus and except from the normal stuff I write here you will be able to read about my blogging and the money I make from it, I will report once a month how my network of blogs are doing.
How are you going to make money you might ask? As you might have seen I have recently posted some paid reviews and som sponsored posts. These are two ways I have monetized this blog, a third will be added today and that is Google Adsense. I will do my best to make it all blend in so it will not distube you guys.
As for this blog you will see some interesting changes in the near future, I have already done some improvments to the design and I am planning some contests and other fun stuff to give back to my reader community. I will get back to you soon again with some updates on this project, and now I have to go write some posts so i can get started.

Post more frequently and gain more visitors
If you are a returning reader of AndreasBard.com you might have noticed that I update this blog more frequently now. Although the amount of posts have increased I can not say that I am 100% happy with it yet. I would like to get to post at least 1 post a day to really add value to this blog, but the problem is I do not have time do it.
Now to the important part of this discussion! I have noticed a significant growth in visitors from this, both unqiue and returning. So the conclusion is that you should update your blog quite often. Quality content on your blog that is updated a couple of times per week will certainly increase your traffic and get your blog returning readers.
My goal the past months has been to post at least 3 posts per week, I have not fullfilled this every week but I have done my best to satisfy both myself and you as the reader of this blog. My next goal is to manage to post at least one post a day, and I think I will be at this level soon since I have decided to focus more on this blog since I more and more start to see the potential it has. You will probably see some changes since I will monetize the blog but I will do my best to make it as clean as possible.
Looking for a new office
Since I started my company I have been working at home, in my apartment.
I have a nice office located in one of the rooms but I feel something is missing. I need the feeling of going to work and then to come home and drop everything work related and concentrate on my personal life. This will make my business more focused and my personal life will finally be personal.
Today I went to have a look at a new office location in town, and I really liked it. Nice rooms, with great possibilities and an awesome location, near town centre and also just beside a beautiful park. The price is a bit high compared to other, but in the price you get Internet Connection, a receptionist taking your calls and booking meetings and access to conference facilities.
I will think some more about it and possibly move in when they open up.

Get a Community
Where do I start? Well, GAC has had an amazing growth in sales the last months which made me very happy, but unfortunately a lot of my staff members have dissapointed me when they do not fullfill their assignments which puts me in an awkward situation.
Because of this I have had to rely on my top posters that is always there for me and that always do what they are told to to. So now I have 5- 10 posters working for me from the 50+ I had before the begining of 2007.
This affect my business and I have been forced to change our offers to fit what we can handle, I hope we still can get more satisfied customers even if some of our strength now is gone.
Two new staff members
I have hired two new staff members that will work for me. One is not really new, but he has started working for me fulltime now, and that is Arindom Ray. Arindom is a great man with amazing skills and he now works with project and staff management and some marketing for me.
We have also hired a guy for our coding needs. He is a 25 year old IT-professor, that have started his first project for us and at the end of this month we will see if he will stay with us. I will update you on this later.
Post Exchanges
I have talked with some of my fellow entrepreneurs about doing some post exchanges, which means that we will have some guest writers here on the blog addin content. I think this is a interesting concept and I believe it will add value to this blog, noth for you as a reader and me. Of course this also mean you will be able to read my articles on other blogs too, keep you eyes open!
Upcoming Projects
I have 3 bigger projects planned and I will launch one of them at a time and let them get going before the new ones get published.
The first one will be launched the first of April, and all I can tell you is that is a script that I will give away free to other webmaster.
The second project is a huge one, and is a concept that combines social networking, advertising and blogging. I really think this one will be a hit! We will have to wait and see!
The third project is also a script that will be sold to other webmasters that wants to start their own gaming website.
Much going on . . .
I have a lot going on now and that is one explanation why my blog has not been updated for a long time.
I am again trying to sell off some of my sites, to get to focus more and get some money to invest in my main projects. This time I have recived more and better offers than the last time so know I am probably getting a few sites sold.
Project Updates
Get A Community is still going steady, but not enough to let me focus 100% on it. I have some ideas to improve it and I am also developing a project manager script to make it easier for the staff and the customers to work on a project.
Inbox Motivation is catching up some traffic and returning readers but I really need to get more flow on the content and get some link exchanges to increase the reader base. My plan now is to monetize this blog and make it profitable.
Blandade Klipp is a swedish site where you can share video clips. The site was offiicialy launched on the 1st of January and the first month resulted in about 5500 unique visitors and most of them are now returning. About 100 of these are now registered members and almost 200 clips has been uploaded.
I am climbing quite fast in the search engines with some of the most important keywords for my niche, where almost 100% of my visitors comes from.
This site is really something I believe in.

New look
The new year is approaching and I thought I should renew this blog a bit for 2007 so I have worked on a more “unique” look for the blog, I really like the result and I think I will stick with it.
Get A Community
This project is growing quite good, and I am currenty working on some bigger reccuring community management contracts that will bring in quite good money and we will get a chance to prove what we can do and hopefuly get good references to show future clients.
